Signs of Domestic Violence

- Victim may be monitored at all times
- Threatens to harm the victim or them self because of frustration with the victim
- Victim is not allowed to see friends or family

- Manages how the victim spends time and money
- Encourages the victim to miss work after an assault has occurred
- Physically beats the victim (Hitting, punching, slapping, kicking, etc.)
- The victims is forced to have sex 

- The victim is blamed for the violent rage 
- Destroys personal property of the victims

- Victim has a low self esteem

- When conflict arises victim quickly accepts fault
